KAT S417

Properties

S417 is a clear, slightly yellow liquid. The use of S417 as a catalyst in neutral- (alkoxy- and oxime type-) crosslinking silicone systems (RTV-1) and 1K-silane terminated polymer systems (MS, STPE, SPUR) permits selective adjustment of the crosslinking density and - in conjunction with additional additives - control of the crosslinking speed.

Applications

S417 mostly can be used by itself but also in combination with other catalysts to provide the sealant with targeted properties (such as desired cure rate, adhesion etc).   

S417  can be used in both filled and non-filled formulations and shows excellent adhesion and shelf-life.
